    Volcanoes cannot always be easily predicted. The recent earthquakes though, might be a sign. Still, it doesn't not mean that it will erupt in the next few days.

    This sort of thing has been debated for a number of years now. If it truly did erupt with any significant magnitude, such an eruption would certainly have an effect on the climate of our planet.
