Anyone know what movie this is?
I would first like to state that the movie I am looking for I saw a long time ago, I am 21 now, so it could be 80s early 90s, made for TV or not I am not sure. I can only recall certain scenes from it, and am not entirely sure this is all from the same movie. What I can remember is this:
The main character is a young boy and there is a girl in the film too that might be his sister. At one point in the film he and his "sister" are fighting outdoors with toy swords. I believe they are both wearing spandex uniforms, as if they were superheroes, red capes I believe and possibly some sort of ring.
At some other point in the film the kid is going to a castle or something (reason I don't recall) and it is a long boat ride, and the lake or river is very misty. The kid does not want to be going there, as I think it might be for poorly behaving kids or orphans perhaps. The castle is dark and dirty. I believe that some sort of swamp monsters are used to keep the kids in place and behave better. When you see these monsters they walk slowly, are green and mist occurs around their feet.
If any of you might have a clue as to this movie's name I would be very grateful.
