Can student dependent study in uk
I am on a dependent visa with my husband who is on tier 4 visa and doing PHD. No I have admission and scholarship for doing PHD in UK. My study completion period will be two months more than the leave granted to me as a dependent. e.g my leave to stay ends on 31 jan 2013, while the PHD I am planning to do ends on 31 March 2013. Now advise me what should I do?
Just join the study and try to complete the study within my time of present visa?
Ask my huband to get his visa extended at the near end of his study?
Ask my husband to apply for Tier 1 Visa after completion of his study while living in UK?

Guide me an easier alternative. Thanks

You should switch to student visa yourself.

Being on dependent visa means if his status is terminated, or you get divorced, your status will be ended.

    Hello,

I am in student's dependent visa and I am currently doing acca. My husband is holding PSW visa at the moment. I want to go for full time student as a student visa category. Can I switch to student visa within the country. Please suggest me.
