    The Sleepless Hand.
Hello, Ill make this short and to the point, my fincea wakes up most ever night to his hand and wrist being numb and painfull only at night and only on his right. We've checkd to see if he sleeps on it and he doesn't but it wakes him up because of the pain. I've massaged his hand/wrist to see if it could be cirrcualtory but no luck. Its bothering him a lot lately. It doesn't bother him at day or anythign just when he sleeps. Anyone know why? Or a solution to try? I would love to be able to see him sleep threw an entire night :D thank you any help will be greatly apprciated!

He may not be sleeping on his hand and arm, but he could be bending it in such a way as to cut off circulation. For instance, the same thing happens to me if I go to sleep with my arm bent over my head, I wake up with a numb arm and hand. Blood doesn't flow to extremeties very quickly during sleep, your heart is in resting mode because there is no activity. Therefore, low circulation.

There is really no solution to it, because how could you prevent sleeping a certain way ?
