My boyfriend is in jail and was charged with felony probation violation. He only has three months over his head. He turned himself in. This is only his second felony. The first one is from seven years ago. How much time might he get?

OK, first he has a probation violation, the violation is for probation from a felony,
So what did he do, to get violated, did he do another crime that is a felony, or did he do something like not report in?
But he could be sent to prison for the entire probation time, or given just a few months, or just told to not do it again and put back on probation, it is all up to the judge. He needs an attorney
Hello a:
Sorry to disappoint you, but probation time does not keep tolling like parole time does... In essence, that means that your boyfriend can be made to serve ALL the time he was sentenced to even if he were violated on his last day.
If you want to help, hire an attorney.

He needs to be very careful just one more felony and that is number 3.
