Black Squirrels - Their Origins in the United States
    Hi, All!

I've heard that black squirrels in the United States were not always here and may have been brought in from England.

Are both of those ways of thinking true, based upon what I've heard?

    Thanks!

Black squirrel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A very informative article about the black squirrels.

I have many squirrels here where I live in Ohio. There are grey, red (or Fox), and black squirrels. The greys are rather timid and so are the red or Fox squirrels. The black squirrels are much more aggressive though for unknown reasons. They "bark" at my dog when she barks at them! They seem much more territorial than the greys. Where I live there are huge trees where they make their nests in very high up in the trees.
