I am converting a bath tub into a shower and I have to move the drain away from the wall.
After cutting the cast iron pipe, I need to connect it to a PVC trap and extend it vertically for the next step. How do I do the connection?

I would use a Fernco or No-Hub Shielded Coupling, (see image) to connect the two together. Good luck, Tpm
