I had my son on Nov 4 2009.
Then I had the Implanon put in on Dec 1 2009
Ans I started my period dec 7 and I have been on it ever since
Is this normal

With Implanon some people can experience a very long period once it is inserted.
I'm surprised your doctor didn't go through this with you before it was inserted, mine informed me that I may have my period for several MONTHS (eek!) before it settled down.
I took the risk and I haven't had a period at all in 6 months.

Give it a bit more time and hopefully once your body adjusts things will go back to normal, if not you may want to have it removed.
