I cant get the stopper of my drain off, the top screws off fine but then I cant do it
I'm trying to get the stopper off to clean out drains but can't seem to figure it out. I believe it's a lift and turn stopper, I can get the top screwed off but then there's this metal piece that just won't come out. Someone help! I've been taking a shower in standing water for over a week... bleach, draino, don't work!

    Hi Klbear...

You are not the first one to complain of this problem... let me tell you!~

There are a couple of different types of lift and turn stoppers. The most common type has a set screw in under the stopper... see 1st image. The other kind of lift and turn stopper is called a roller ball drain (see 2nd image). To remove this stopper from a roller ball drain you will need a needlenose pliers and a regular pair of pliers... see last image. Hold the bottom while unscrewing the top half counterclockwise.

Let me know if I'm close...
