Hmsk80 carb on tech 8hp snowblower leaks fuel
I have a hmsk80 carb on a tech snowblower that I have had apart 5 times and cleaned it with ulrasonic cleaner and soaked it in carb cleaner put in a carb kit complete needle and seat float all that put it together and after a few min gas is running out of the throat. I have changed the float higher and lower. With the bowl off I turn the gas on push the float up and it shuts fuel off. Let it drop and fuel runs. Any help here>?? Thanks..

    Hi,
HMSK80 is a good snowthrower engine. The letters and numbers are Horizontal Midmount Snow King 8 HP.
My guess is that the float is bad. Does it look crushed on the bottom; a common thing on that particular engine caused by condensation freezing in the bottom of the bowl.
    Peace,

    Hi,
Well the seat; did it go in with the ringed side first, "never to to be seen again?"
    Peace,
