    Please help!!
I received a JL2005A toy camera as a gift for buying my computer... and I installed all the necessary software.. but install will not complete and says that there is a file missing called vidcap.ax?! I searched the disc and it does not have such a file.. I searched windows files and again could not find it. :( I found a site that has a download for this product I speak of at driverguide.com... I downloaded it and still that same bloody file is missing. Can anyone please tell me how or where to get this file? What is the point of having a cam if I can't ever use it? Please please please help me...

    Hi Firesember,
Here's your file. Just download it and unzip it to C:\Windows\System32, and you should be good to go. I decided to upload it to the board, as the only site I was able to find it on was primarily in Mandarin, and it was packaged in a Rar file. I repackaged it in Zip for convenience.
Hope it works. Take care. :)

    Hi Firesember,
You could try manually copying or dragging that particular driver off the CD, and pasting it into the Windows directory. I assume that file does as well go in the system32 folder. Let me know if you are able to do this.

One of the things I found doing a web search was that this camera is designed for a playstation not a PC. Did you ask the people where you bought your PC?

P.S. We know you need help since you are posting a question. So a subject like Please Help is redundant. Use the subject line to give a brief discription of your question. For example: JL2005A Camera help

Here is a site that has drivers designated for Windows, though as Scott indicated, it does appear to be designed for the PS2 -- I hadn't realized this. I have no idea if this will work:

    http://members.driverguide.com/drive...riverid=249130

Good luck. This is probably your best bet.
