    Statute of limitations on back child support
    If all the children are over 18 and not in college is there a statute of limitations on back child support for the state of California

    Need more information. Are you asking if you can file for support now that the children are grown? The answer is no.

    Or are you asking if support still has to be paid now that the children are grown? The answer is yes - anything that was ordered by the court stays in place until it is paid or reversed by the court. The children becoming legal adults doesn't affect the parent's obligation to support them.
