What can I take for a head cold. I am 7w5d.. I can't breathe and my head hurts so bad and I have a sore throat, so I would love to be able to take something.. Thanks guys.:(

In my experience with pregnancy I was always told not to take anything for the first 12 weeks!

However,the last time I was pregnant was 6 years ago,and perhaps there is something on the market you can take now..

You can use a teakettle and gently inhale the steam to unclog your head. You can use Vicks in the steam or just put a bit under your nose. You can gargle with warm salt water for the sore throat. All these remedies are with no meds involved.

That's a great idea above,but be careful using any natural remedies like lavander,without checking the dose first.

Thanks guys.. I went to my doc. This morning for my 8 week check up and she said she doesn't want me taking any meds until after 11 weeks. So I am going to try some of those natural methods and see what happens cause I feel so bad..
