o.k my blood pressure has been high most of the day but I just checked it and it shows 183/166 and I am having chest pain dizziness double vision and headaches

I would suggest going to the emergency room as soon as possible. That blood pressure is way too high!

If it's that bad why are you taking the time to ask us what to do? I would be worried and on my way to the hospital. The simple fact that you feel the need to check your blood pressure at least once a day makes me think that you have a condition where a heart attack, or other problems, is a serious possibility.

I hope you have been to the hospital since posting this. Yes, it is bad, it is very bad!

A number of years ago, I had really high blood pressure with similar symptoms. Both numbers where in the triple digits.

I was told to leave work and go to a physician, or there might be the possibility that I could have a stroke!
