You just have to give her that space. Stay busy doing your own thing now.

Well I don't know all the details. Needing space can mean different things depending on the situation. I wouldn't bug her trying to get answers. That's the easiest mistake you can make. If you really want her back remember that girls want what they can't get. If she really did like you then there's a good chance she will fall for you again once she realizes she needs you. That might not be the case though. Just do what she says (give her space) and see what happens. You might be surprised with the results.

If she needs space that's what you give her. Leave it be and busy yourself getting on with your own life.

My dear friend.. give her the space. We had been together for 12 yrs, that's more than half my current age, and hence could nt believe there can be a day that we don't talk, there can be a place where she can be without my knowledge. That's the biggest mistake I did, i.e not giving her space, and now I stand alone after a year of convincing. Now she does not want space, she wants me to be in space. Do give her space and time, and that's your only chance left!
