I installed a Hampton Bay ceiling fan - model # 460 005 but the fan does not change directions when I use the remote. When I try and change (reverse) the fan direction on the remote nothing happens. Two arrows appear on the remote with one arrow pointing up and the other pointing down. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Have you tried reversing it while on all motor settings, including off?
