    General controls thermostat T99AH
I am replacing an old ITT General Controls thermostat with a Honeywell RTH7500D. My heating system is a forced air gas furnace (no air conditioning). My old thermostat has 2 wires coming from the furnace, but there are no labels on the old thermostat. Both wires are white. I have no idea where to hook the 2 wires on the new thermostat. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    I actually agree with you.

The stat is compatible with a 750 mV system which is probably what you have.

Leave the jumper in place from R, Rc although it doesn't matter.

Connect your wires to R and W. Configure for gas heat.
