Hi, I am looking for a movie from 95 or close by.
I only remember that a woman visits a house and
Finds, in a room (or attic), underneath the new wallpaper some old one;
And she gets the strange feeling that she knows the wallpaper from her childhood.
But she didn't know or recognized anything of the house before she finds the wallpaper.
I think there was a nice plot to the story about something what happened in her childhood which she can't remember.
But it clicks with the wallpaper!

I thought about this too, but Cold Case came out in 2003.
The movie I am looking for is at least 8 years older.

Plot Summary
Having recently moved to England, transplanted New Zealanders Gwenda and Giles Reed are settling into their new home. Gwenda had fallen in love with the place the instant she saw it but as time goes by, she develops a sense of déjà vu about the place. As far as she is aware, she has never before been in England but she knows the pattern of the old wallpaper they find on the walls and the location of a now covered over doorway. When she begins to remember seeing someone murdered at the bottom of the staircase however, she is convinced she is going mad.
