OK so I got in a car accident due to inclimate weather... but neither party called the police... I have insurance... I hit the other car's bumper(just a little scratch)... & gave them my insurance info... what kind of claim will they be allowed to make without a police report??

They can claim you totaled their car and that they have 100,000 in medical bills if they want,

So hopefully they are not dishonest people.

Did you take a photo of their accident, photo of the damaged area ?

No but I can... they live rite across the street from me...

As FrChuck said, they can file for just about anything. Question is what can they prove - ?

You do NOT need a Police Report to file a claim with an insurance company.
