    Craftsman snowblower troubleshoot
Won't turn over either with manual pull cord or electric start... seems like engine may be seized

Open the oil filter plug on the side of the engine, does anything comes out? Is it oil or oil/gas mix. Try removing the spark plug, can you turn it over now?

    Hi,
Good suggestions those! I would pull the plug and try to turn the engine through on the other end of the crank, at the belts. They only seize in three places; the bearings at either end of the crank or the rod. The first two can be remedied by filling with oil and slanting to lubricate and breaking loose. The last one is basically catastrophic as things will turn loose at some point even if broken free.
    Peace,
    Clarke
