Sorry to be so blunt in my response, but sometimes love does not conquer all.

Your BF sounds as if he has too many issues for you to deal with - in the end he has to take responsibility for his own problems and you have to take responsibility for the fact that you're unhappy.

The sorts of things you're describing may require the attention of a professional therapist and as his GF, you may find that its too complex a situation to remain in for much longer.
