We are not allowed to wear any peircings in basketball games and I play year round. So I want to get this done now. I cannot even wear a bandaid over the earing either. How can I hide it. Or will it be okay if I take it out for an hour long game?

I doubt you could hide it. You could see if you could find a clear spacer bar to put in temporarily to keep it open if you're afraid of it closing during a game. You might have to cut it so it doesn't stick out too far and become visible. It might fall out, but it's better than nothing.
