This question is for I-140?
This question is Littlebit weired. We have just filled I-140 of my wife.I am on my h-1b status which has massed up.so, according to my lawyer advice I have not filled my case on her dependent because lawyer said "your case is ruined" so, " they will do more observation" and they will ruined your wife case also.
Before fillng of I-140 lawyer suggested me to change her last name in passport and SSN by her married name. SO, I had changed her passport and SSN by married last name.
At very end time lawyer changed his mind and he filled her I-140 under her maiden last name. So, will there be any confution by immigration dept.when she has her new passport and SSN under married last name when application has been filled under maiden last name.
