My house get a sewer smell when it rain, how to get rid of it
My home is approx 10 yrs. Old. We have added additional drain field, last year, and have had the septic tank flushed twice this year, we are stiill getting this toxic/sewer smell in our home when it rains heavy. Should we call a plumber to check the vents? We are in desperate need of HELP!!

Wow, yes, if the problem is that bad, then yes, why did you wait to ask here. I would call a plumber immediately to get rid of anything toxic

Any backups during a hard rain? Where does your rain water runoff go to? Let me know, Tom

Tell us why the additional field was needed, tanks are not flushed, just pumped. Pumping a tank twice in one year is not necessary unless there is some other problem you/we do not know about. Pumping every 5-10 for a family of 4 is all that's needed
