    I am replacing 2 wire off and on switch light work not turn on

    Before you replace the switch lets confirm its bad. Is the box grounded or do you have a white, green or bare wire in/near the box, anything that's grounded?

    Please give us more information. Is this a switch in the fan or in the wall? Why are you replacing it?
