Are you trying to make it easier to print? If so, then you can just paste the image into the document.

There is no direct conversion. If it is a jpeg of text you can print it and try an OCR program to scan it and capture the text. If it is a normal type photo and you want it in word format you can insert it into the word file Under the Insert menu them Picture and From File. Thisis the path in Word 2008 FOR Mac

It is possible to print via pasting into a word document, or even resizing in paint and printing there.

As Cmeeks suggested, you can use an OCR program. This will actually attempt to read the document, and convert it into text. From my experience, the programs are relatively expensive, and the free ones tend to be more error prone.
