    Married in the US divorce in france
    We were married in the US but he is trying to get a divorce in France without my consent. Can he do that?

    I don't know the answer to your question but have found a website that may be able to help you. I don't think it is possible for him to desolve his marriage without involving you.

    Has he moved to France, if so, yes, just as if he lived there and you lived here you can file in the US for divorce here.

    It will be up to the laws of the nation ( for France) and State in the US as to residence and other issues
