I am trying to improve the look of untreated wood floors in my three upstairs bedrooms. They have never been finished (a spilled liquid absorbs right into the wood and leaves a stain). I'm trying to avoid sanding for health reasons, severe allergies in the family, but I want to get the floors looking a little better. I know I can't get the look of a newly sanded polyurethane floor, but I just want to improve the floors look. Is there any type of finish I can apply to the floors that don't involve sanding or dust creation? Thanks for any suggestions.
