I work for a company and we are tax exempt. What I need to know is do we pay a city tax when we go to a hotel?
    Thanks,

You can be tax exempt through your company for all business related transactions, but if you go to a hotel you will have to pay all applicable state taxes same as anyone else.

The only travellers who may be exempt from paying these taxes are federal employees who are travelling as part of their jobs.
