    Keyboard issues
I have a Vostro 1500. Just installed Windows 7 and suddenly my touch pad is so sensitive, I find my cursor jumping all over. None of the solutions here work. There are mouse properties in the control panel, including "pointer options". Nothing I can find will affect the touch pad. This is becoming an unsurmountable irritation.

    I've heard

    Fn + F7
    Or

Well I tried this. It is for enabling "sticky keys". I am still at a loss on this very irritating problem. I have a friend with an Inspiron. He just got it and he is having the same problem. He is an author and it is interfering with his writing. We are ready to trash our Dell laptops.

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

Have you tried contacting Dell? There may be updated drivers for the touchpad.
