I have a bridge my last back tooth of the bridge was bothering and so dr suggested that I need root canal done w/crown lenghtening and take bridge out put the implant for the missing tooth and put a crown last tooth. My question is can I get implant done at same time w/crown lenghtening.

I need to know can an implant be done w/crown lenghting at the same time..

Are you going to need a bone graft where the missing tooth the bridge has replaced is? Usually the bone resorbs once a tooth is removed. To be sure there is adequate bone in place to support an implant a bone graft may need to be done. If it's an upper tooth then there is always a possibility of a sinus lift being needed as well. If you need to have either or both sinus lift and/or graft you will have lots of time before having the implant placed to have the crown lengthening done as you need a few months after the surgery before the implant. If you are lucky enough to not need either then as long as the crown lengthening doesn't interfere with the bone supporting the implant it can be done at the same time.
