Electrical outlet and power not working in one room
My son recently peed on a electrical outlet in his room. Now the all the power in his room and the adjoining bathroom does not work. The breaker didn't trip and the GFCI outlets are all set as they should be. What else could the problem be?

Wire terminals or connections inside the box on the receptacle may have corroded or otherwise loosened.

Many homes have the wires pushed into holes on the back of receptacles, called whiz wire, quick wire, etc.

These connections are notorious for loose connections.

The device needs to be pulled out and have the connections checked, if pushed in type, have changed to wrap around the screw connection.

If you handy with tools, and working on wiring, fairly simple job. Be sure the power is shut off to the outlet.

If not, or any hesitation, then need an electrician to come in and do the repair.
