I am having trouble with my 11 year old JVC XL-F254BK CD player; it has a 5-disc carousel drawer. When I press the power button to turn it on, one of two things happens:
1. The lights come on, I hear a motor run for 5-10 seconds, and the motor stops. I cannot get the drawer to open. When I press the power button again, I hear a motor run for 5-10 seconds, and the unit shuts off and turns off its lights.

2. The lights come on, I hear a motor run for 1-2 minutes, and the motor stops. I cannot get the drawer to open. When I press the power button again, nothing happens. The only way to get the unit to shut off is to unplug it.
Can I fix the CD player, or should I buy another CD player?
