I used to us Properties Taskbar to hide when inactive, and understand it well, for some reason it does not do any changes. How can I fix it.

Why did you put this in the dog forum?

Did your dog screw up your computer?

You really need to pay attention to where you put your question. If you don't put it in the right forum then it's unlikely that you'll get a response from someone that can help you.

I'm asking the mods to move this but please, learn to use the site before diving in. There are links that will help, there are rules and regulations you agreed to.

I assume you're working with Windows XP, right? If so, right-click on the taskbar and select "Properties". Near the bottom of the form is a checkbox that is labeled "Hide inactive icons". If that's checked, there is a "Customize" button that you can click where you can specify programs not to nide.
