    My Hitachi 50" 50VG825 Lcd TV Has a green tint to the picture. I Have heard that it could be the lamp engine. Is that something a DIY could do? Or is it worth fixing. TV is Four years old.

    It could be the lamp in the TV. In most cases it is better of to buy a new one (especially with some of the drops in pricing for the newer TVs).

    Is this tint with every input? Check to make sure your cables are securely connected, especially any component connections.
