92 honda civic knoking at low speeds
1992 Honda Civic 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 250000 miles

Recently I replaced my alternator, which required me to remove and replace the belts for the alternator and the power steering pump. At the same time I also replaced the engine oil. Immediately after this, a knocking sound started at low speeds. I thought that the sound might be that I hadn't tightened one of the belts properly, but when I test the tension, they're fine, and they appear to be turning just fine when I look at the engine. I figured it might be the transmission because it just knocks at low speeds and usually goes away when I press the accelerator, hold the clutch down, or coast with it in neutral. I did a bit of research which suggests that it might be the drivetrain CV joint? However it doesn't knock when I make turns or anything. Any suggestions?
