What is a battery charge rectifer on a riding mower?
I have a 22hp Kholer engine on my yazzo mower that isn't charging the battery. It only show 12.5 volts when engine is running. This started happening when I changed the ignition switch.Could I have wired it wrong. It start on a newly charged battery.I do not see any fuse. What is the correct wiring diagram from the switch to the starter to amp meter.Icut the wires to safety switch and blade engage and soidered them back also.Would really need a wiring diagram.Thks.

    Hi,
Generally speaking the charging circuit will travel through the wire supplying the switch/harness (usually red.)
Was it not a simple plug on the back of the harness? Could it be you purchased the wrong switch (many look identical outwardly.)
    Peace,

    Hi,
Did you try Yazoo's site for info?
    How about:
    Stens - The Parts Company
    Prime Line Power Equipment
Who both are aftermarket distributors. The last one shows the terminal configuration in the Catalog.
    Peace,
    Clarke
