    Child support and ssd in pa
    If my son receives ssd and his son receives ssi from his disbility can it be conidered his child support payment?

    No. It MIGHT be factored into support.

    If father is getting ssd and I have a court order for him to pay back child support can they take it out of his check he lives in another city.

    We're all volunteers here - please don't post every three minutes, wondering why no one is answering you.

    If you would have read the initial post you would have seen that the person asking the question had a child who WAS receiving SSD by virtue of his SSD.

    The answer is yes. Child support BY COURT ORDER can be taken from SSD.

    Have you looked into whether the children are entitled to benefits due to the father's disability and SSD?
