Of course not, it is a @ a 10 day notice to pay or move and if you don't pay what is owed, they go to court to evict.
If you are behind in your rent, they can serve you a 3-10 day pay or quit notice. I believe its 3 days in CA. If you don't pay or vacate by the deadline, they then go to court for an eviction order. How long that takes depends on court load, but its generally around 2 weeks. There will be a hearing where you can still pay in full. If you don't an eviction order will be issued giving you a few more days to leave. If you still don't leave, they will hire a sheriff to remove you.
