Inducer motors for York Diamond furnaces
I have a York Diamond 80 which when it starts up the seems to be a vibration that can be heard on the main floor(furnace is in the basement). Upon start up I can grab hold of the inducer motor and the noise goes away. Should I be concerned enough to go out and buy a motor and fan blade to have onsite? My furnace was installed new in July of 1998.

If I tell you not to worry it will break tomorrow. A slight vibration is somewhat normal. If you can find the motor get it and the fan blade attached to it but you might end up buying the entire inducer assembly.
