    80's cartoon glass unicorn
I'm not sure if this was a movie or a TV-series, but I remember a fantasy cartoon from when I was a kid that I was a little too young to understand at the time but I was still enthralled by it. It was probably 80's, but it can be as young as -93.

What I remember most of all is this rather grand intro, I think it mentions "another time" and all that style of things, but it was translated so I'm not sure. One bit of the intro has a wizard casting spells in an inferno in a cave or something; what I remember most vividly is a bit about a living glass unicorn. I think it was captured by the bad guys. The intro was all clips from different scenes.

Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

The only thing I know with a unicorn and possibly fire (inferno) would be "The Last Unicorn"

It's definitely not The Last Unicorn, and it's not Unico. It's an honest to goodness crystal/glass unicorn, I remember the sound as its hooves touched stone in a room in some sort of fortress :D It had something shiny and transparent going on, I seem to remember that its hide was faceted. And it was much more realistically drawn, less cartoony.

That must be it! I barely recognize it, but the scene with the wizard is correct, and I remember the little froggy thing. I'll look into it properly. Thank you!
