I just had a hysteroscopy d&c and my period stopped for a week and a half, and now my period is heavier than ever and I am getting big blood clots. Does anyone know if this is normal? By the way the same day I got my d&c they insterted an IUD.

Doesn't sound normal, LU, but not knowing underlying medical conditions, previous health concerns and if you are having heavy blood clots, then I would contact your obgyn asap and get comfortable with your situation. I am sure all was explained to you and at the time you didn't know questions to ask. We are all in too much of a hurry to take it all in. So call, get it sorted out. Let us know.
