I have a 6030 ritetemp thermostat, 7 day programmable with an energy star approved program. I have tried the 7 day program & custom program. Seems that there is a communication problem in the thermostat. The thermostat will work if it is manual turned on.
Why won't the other problems work?

If it works OK in manual then I would suspect a thermostat problem if it does not work in the program mode. Revisit the install/operating instructions to check for proper setup if that checks OK then it might be thermostat time. Do yourself a favor and get a Honeywell or White Rodgers.

I have a ritetemp 6030 thermostat that will not allow me to enter a manual override in the "hold" status. It will allow a temporary override but the "temporary" icon flashes nonstop. What can I do to fix this problem.
