    Flossing and Brushing
I wanted to know if it is better to floss before brushing or the other way around, I have researched several medical books and have found both answers.

Since the experts you've looked up seem to have different opinions, you can be assured that it doesn't matter very much. I might suggest that you alternate methods.

I think it is better flossing before brushing because sometimes the plaque that is removed from in between teeth ends up on my gums or on my teeth. Brushing helps get rid of the rest of the loose plaque.

I recommend to my clients that they floss when they find time. It doesn't necessarily have to be done at the same time as brushing. I suggest that they floss while watching the news or a favourite TV show so it doesn't become an effort.

I recommend flossing before brushing... that way the food and heavy plaque is out of the contact areas (inbetween teeth) so when you brush the fluoride in the toothpaste can take effect there... might be anecdotal , but makes sense to me
