Relinquishment of parental rights in Florida
I have relinquished my parental rights in January of 2009 and has also signed that my ex's wife adopt my 2 girls but have not received any paperwork on this and have called my clerk of courts and cannot get copies of this to show I voluntary relinquished my rights. What should I do Child support enforcement is still taking shild support out on me and is stating I cannot stop this unless my rights are no longer.. I am tired of getting the run around. What should I do?

Did you actually go to court for this, or did you simply sign a piece of paper? If this wasn't done in court, then it's not legal and has no meaning.

The stepmother will have to file to adopt the two children in order for it to be permanent.

Until the adoption actually takes place you are normally obligated to continue to pay. The paper work you signed to give up rights were part of the adoption process and is filed at the same time the adoption is.

So once the adoption is final, your release from obligation is also.
