I was watching the thread on Satan started by Fred and it was wonderful to know lots of ideas people have about God and Satan. Other than Christians and Muslims, people do not believe that there is Satan. Hence it becomes so easy to point out what God does. Anyway.

I am here to share with you an interview of Johanna Michealsen. She wrote a book called "Beautiful Side of Evil". Did anyone read the book? She lived few years of her life with spirits. Following is the link to her interview.

I'm a science lover. I can share lots of things "which people think are not there" - which has nothing to do with good or evil...

"The Beautiful Side of Evil" is only name of the book she wrote.

My point of sharing this interview is to let people know that how Devil can deceive people. It is written in the Bible that in the end times Devil will appear as Angel of Light. I was always thinking how could Devil deceive us being an Angel of Light and how could we see through that appearance of his and identify that he is Satan and not an angel from God. This video tells a lot about how even demonic spirits heal. How a spirit can disguise as Jesus and detrack people.

About sharing things, I think this website is a beautiful platform where we can come and share what we know and learn what we do not know. Here people acknowledge what is right and disapprove respectfully which they do not agree with.

Now that you've explained it that way, let me summarize my own thoughts:

1. Subject line means a lot. If there is something substantial in the post - that relates to the subject line - then you'll get many responses... BUT there are many who post links to other sites here and there's no one to look at the link because they don't see anything "substantial" in the post.

That's where I'm coming from.

As for the rest of what you said, I cannot disagree. I don't see things exactly as you do, but I cannot disagree with your general ideas.

That being said, don't take my posts here as a reflection of the site in general. Stick with Ask Me Help Desk and you will continue to find lots of great people to interact with. You'll find folks like me who get a wild hair up their butt on occasion, but for the most part, everyone here is a good egg.

I found the title of the book pretty intriguing. And trust me when I first heard about this it made me curious to know more about the title which eventually led me to this video.

Thanks for being honest. I have read your responses in the past on different topics and have respect for you. And I am aware of the fact that people have different angles to look at a thing and that's why ideas collide. Did you watch the whole video or not yet?

To be honest: no.

I replied based on my own thoughts, and what I believe I have learned over the past 4 years of admining this site: People don't often click on links unless it is either a part of an answer or a supplemental to significant content in the original post.

... all of the above, of course, is just my opinion :)

Actually I was going to put this video in the thread which Fred started on God and Satan.

Just my 2 cents.

I never click on links provided because I simply don't have the time or inclination to watch a video unless it's in humor and comedy. Even then I usually pass by those posts. It's too much effort. Some of those videos are really long and take forever to get to the point.

I've been on a thread where someone posted a link to a story that was around 100 pages long and then kept asking if I'd read it. I'm supposed to take time out of my day to read 100 pages on a topic that I'm not really that interested in? No thank you.

In other words, I think only a handful of people will actually watch the video you posted. That's just the way it is.

I am somewhat like others with links.
But...
If there is a video I do not watch it because I cannot hear well enough.
If it is lengthy I might read a few lines to see what it about and go no farther if I'm not interested.
As far as Satan being beautiful that is true. He was once one of the most beautiful angels in heaven.
He is proof that beauty can be very deceiving.
In that case beauty itself is a lie.
I fact I think he is the start of that for as Jesus said Satan is the father of lies.
He was able to recruit a number of other angels to revolt against God through the use of lies.
In the novel I wrote I depict fallen angels as both beautiful and also very ugly depending on the situation.

My novel is called "Angel's Tread; The King of Shadows" by Frederick Brown.
It is currently of print but hopefully it will be reissued in early 2010.
I'll post a notice here when it is again available.
It's not a small one. It has over 400 pages, and it's about the beginning (or advent) the end of this age in preparation for the return of the Messiah; or, one could say, the final war between good and evil which has both mankind and the spirit world locked in battles all over the world but centered in and area of around Butte, Montana.
There's a special reason for that.
I have a few of the early editions still available.
