You need to know a lot more than what you've given. You probably would need to know what exploded, what gases were produced, the detonating velocity of whatever detonated, how much of it was present, its state of confinement, the tensile strength of whatever confined it, etc.
Hi Perito, A 22" long, 2 5/8" outer diameter rubber tube filled with regular air. Rubber was 3/8" thick. The rubber tube was inserted half its length into a 4" pvc pipe and pumped to 38lbs psi when exploded. Is this enough information Perito? It was a Multi-size multi-stage MS2 Long test ball for testing water pressure. No water was present at time..
Thanks
