    linearly dependent vectors maths
    Given vectors |u|=20, |v|=15, |x|=6,
    A) Write vector x as linear combination of vector u and vector v
    ^ ^
    B) Express vector x as a linear combination of the unit vectors u and v

    I have solved it this way but not sure
    x= -au - bv
    20a/sin 50=6/sin 65=15b/sin 65
    by solving this we get
    a=0.25 and b=0.47
    x=-0.25u - 0.47v

    I could go only this so far plzz HELP!!

    Unit vectors have length 1. What are these vectors you have posted? Are these the norms? Just making sure what you're getting at.
