what is the velocity of a block after 10 seconds if force applied=15 newtons, force of friction= 5 newtons and mass= 12 kilograms?

: Acceleration equals force divided by mass.

: Velocity equals acceleration times time.

Force is measured in newtons, time in seconds, mass in kilograms.

If you have an object that is accelerating and there is friction, the friction acts like negative acceleration. For every 15 newtons you have 5 newtons pushing backwards against it. Thus you have a total acceleration of 10 newtons.
