Hi, I'm in the uk and I've started seeing someone now and his on the sex offenders register as he had sex with a minor now she tried to get him done for rape and was thrown out of court but still has to be on the register for having sex with a minor( she was 15 and he was 19) he has probation every week and been told his on the register for 5yrs... problem is my little girl is 12months and I need to know if I will have trouble from them or they get social services involved for the sake of my girl and is there a way I can find out every little thing that happened and said in that court room?. please give advice as I'm abit stuck on what to do, thanks steph

If you are worried about being involved with him, and concerned about his proximity with your little girl, then don't have anything to do with him. If he is on a sex offender list, stay away from him.

Not a good idea to have your e mail address posted on a public forum.

OK cheers how do I take it off?

I'm not even the sligest worry that he would do anything to her all I'm trying to find out is will anything happen to me or my little girl as I'm seeing someone on the sex offender register??

You can't take off now. You will have to register as another name and start your post over again, but unless you intend on coming back to ask other questions, or to help someone, I don't see the point really.

Good, glad you are not worried, I would be for sure. You have just met him ?

You can't access court records but if he has some kind of parole officer, maybe you can find out his name and number and ask him details. You are in the UK and reaching an international site, mostly accessed on the North American continent, rules and regulations differ from country to country, so I don't know how you would find out if you and your daughter would be impacted in any way from seeing him. As I said, you just met him, if you feel he is absolutely necessary and special in your life and your daughters at the immediate moment, I would understand your concern. If it were me, I would be absolutely turned off by his association with any kind of sex offender list.
